I was born in Israel and grew up in the U.S., where I developed a deep interest in everything finance, particularly the stock market. While I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Queens College in 2002, I ultimately began my financial career on a Wall Street trading desk. It did not take long for me to realize my true passion in this role, helping other traders make mark to market elections and employ some of the same strategies I was using to minimize my own taxes. In no time at all, more than half the traders were my unofficial clients. Needless to say, when Dodd-Frank shuttered most trading desks in 2009, I knew exactly what I would do next.

In 2010, I joined a top 100 public accounting firm, starting as a salesperson and gradually working my way up through various roles, including bookkeeper/accountant, payroll accountant, and eventually to a tax accountant advising clients directly.  My passion for tax law and commitment to excellence led me to earn my Enrolled Agent designation from the Treasury department in 2018, which paved the way for me to establish my own practice.

As a tax professional, stock market trader, real estate investor, and business owner myself, I bring a well-rounded and practical perspective to my practice. My hands-on experience in these areas gives me a deep understanding of economic cycles and the challenges of managing both business and personal finances. With my Enrolled Agent (EA) designation, I am equipped to work with clients across all states, offering the flexibility and convenience of virtual services. This setup not only allows me to provide personalized, strategic advice regardless of location but also ensures that I can be readily accessible to clients wherever they are. Those who would benefit most from a client relationship with me are small business owners, investors of any type, and foreign taxpayers. Additionally, anyone with a genuine interest in learning and applying tax law will find a place with me as well.

One of the highlights of my career has been helping clients navigate challenging times, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, where I secured millions in relief for those I worked with. Even without that, through proactive tax planning and persistent resolution strategies, I’ve consistently saved my clients significant amounts over the years.

My philosophy is simple: I focus on what I do best—tax planning and advisory—while empowering my clients with the knowledge they need to succeed where their accounting and finances are concerned. I aim not just to provide a service, but to ensure that my clients feel confident enough to manage their finances independently over time. I even remember the smile on my face the first time a client told me he had entered the accounting space and that the tips he had received from me over the years had given him the confidence to do so.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about travel, no-limit Hold’em, fitness, and golf. Speaking fluent Hebrew also allows me to connect with and assist Hebrew-speaking clients on a deeper level.
